Kaya Acne-free Purifying Toner Review

Today I will be reviewing a toner from Kaya acne-free range known as Kaya Purifying Toner. I had bought this when I signed up for my first Kaya package. One of the main reasons I bought it for is that it contains Mandelic acid, which is a rare ingredient used to treat acne and blackheads. Read along to find out more about it!

About Mandelic acid:

Mandelic acid is Alpha-hydroxy acid(AHA) just like Glycolic acid, Lactic acid, etc. It is derived from bitter almonds. Just like any other AHA’s it has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, increases skin renewal, promotes collagen production, improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, treats acne and blemishes, lightens hyperpigmentation.
Many mandelic acid products are available abroad. But in India as far I know there are only two products containing Mandelic acid available.
1)Kaya Acne-free Purifying Toner.

Final Verdict:

I found this product when I was reading about Mandelic acid.So I bought it when I went to Kaya Skin Clinic.Normally toner are primarily alcohol-based which dries out skin and rarely come with any skin benefits. This is a really good toner which hydrates, soothens, treats mild acne and blemishes. It also treats blackheads.Since it is really really hot now a days#:-S ,I just spritz little in the afternoon and leave it on to dry.It is soothingB-).I also use it after removing make up with Bioderma Sensibio H20,it removes those last traces of grime and dust from face.I am really happy with product,I would say one toner that actually sticks to its claims!:)

My Rating:4.75/5
